Department of Healthcare Access and Information
California law (Assembly Bill 1204) requires hospitals to provide information on the quality of care and patient outcomes for different groups of people, including those defined by age, race/ethnicity, language, and insurance type. Every year, hospitals must submit a report to the state that identifies where differences in care occur and describes plans to advance equity. These reports are publicly available on the state’s website as well as ours, allowing patients and families to see how we are working to deliver fair and equal care for all.
