MarinHealth Urgent Care | A UCSF Health Clinic

About This Location

MarinHealth Urgent Care | A UCSF Health Clinic offers quick, convenient care for most illnesses and injuries. We treat patients of all ages, from pediatric (3+months) to geriatric, and we offer extended hours on weekdays, as well as weekend appointments. We take walk-ins and can typically offer same-day appointments for those who prefer to call to avoid a wait at the clinic. Our MarinHealth Outpatient Imaging Center (closed Sundays) is down the hall, allowing for quick diagnosis of fractures and sprains during daytime hours. If needed, patients may be referred to a specialist for additional care or hospitalization.

For Pediatric Patients

We offer after-hours care specifically for children — provided by pediatricians — at our Pediatric After-Hours Care Clinic in Larkspur. Open evenings and weekends, this location delivers specialized care for young patients, but we can also treat children 3 months of age and older at MarinHealth Urgent Care.

Our Urgent Care Clinic is the perfect solution:

  • When you need care outside of regular office hours
  • When your doctor can’t fit you in soon enough
  • When you need services your doctor doesn’t provide, such as stitches

We have stringent protocols in place to ensure your safety in the clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic. You will be instructed when you arrive or call about how to check in and/or wait safely until it’s time for your appointment.

Billing & Insurance Questions

Insurance Coverage: Before your appointment, please contact your insurance carrier to verify that UCSF Health is an in-network provider for your plan. Your insurer can also tell you whether your plan requires that you pay an annual deductible before it pays for your visits. Partnership patients may be seen after 5 pm Monday through Friday, as well as anytime on weekends. View a list of healthcare plans currently accepted by our office.

If we are contracted with your insurance company, we will bill them. If we are not contacted with your insurance and/or you choose to pay for your visit yourself, you will need to pay a deposit at the time of your appointment. This is a deposit only and doesn't include fees for any tests of procedures. You will receive a bill in the mail for the amount owed for your visit and services received.
