Medical Center Patients & Visitors

Medical Center Patients & Visitors

At MarinHealth Medical Center, we do our utmost to make patients and visitors feel welcome. In addition to looking out for your well being and safety, we also want to make sure you’re well informed about our hospital’s organization, procedures, and regulations. This section contains everything you need to know about the Medical Center, whether you’re staying with us as a patient or just stopping by to visit a loved one.

Visiting Loved Ones at MarinHealth Medical Center

We know how comforting hospital visits can be, both for our patients and their family and friends. We ask that you only visit during approved visiting hours. When appropriate, please consider connecting with family and friends via phone, email, text, and/or video chat apps (FaceTime, Skype, What’sApp, etc.). Our team is happy to assist patients in video and phone visits with their loved ones. Learn more about setting up a Zoom video visit with a patient.

Smoke-Free Campus

We are committed to providing patients, visitors, and employees with a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted inside or outside properties owned by MarinHealth.

Television

Televisions are provided in each patient room. We ask that you please keep the TV volume down and turn off the TV at bedtime. Channel listings are provided in the Healthy Advice guide. In addition to standard TV channels, we have a special C.A.R.E. Channel (channel 3) featuring beautiful nature images and instrumental music for a relaxing and healing environment.

Waiting Rooms

Waiting rooms are provided for loved ones on each unit. Please be mindful and courteous of other visitors in waiting areas. If you plan to have a large gathering, please talk to a care team member and we will work to accommodate you.
