Medical Center Patients & Visitors

Medical Center Patients & Visitors

At MarinHealth Medical Center, we do our utmost to make patients and visitors feel welcome. In addition to looking out for your well being and safety, we also want to make sure you’re well informed about our hospital’s organization, procedures, and regulations. This section contains everything you need to know about the Medical Center, whether you’re staying with us as a patient or just stopping by to visit a loved one.

Visiting Loved Ones at MarinHealth Medical Center

We know how comforting hospital visits can be, both for our patients and their family and friends. We ask that you only visit during approved visiting hours. When appropriate, please consider connecting with family and friends via phone, email, text, and/or video chat apps (FaceTime, Skype, What’sApp, etc.). Our team is happy to assist patients in video and phone visits with their loved ones. Learn more about setting up a Zoom video visit with a patient.

E-mails & E-Cards

E-mails can be sent to patients via our E-mail a Patient page.

Free Wi-Fi

Wireless Internet is available throughout the hospital. Connect to the MarinHealth Medical Center Guest Network and accept the Guest Services Acceptable Use Policy. Please be aware this is an unsecured network and information may be visible to others.

Lost & Found

MarinHealth Medical Center maintains a property storage system for unclaimed property. If you lose your property while at the hospital, please contact Safety & Security at 1-415-925-7088.

Public Restrooms

Public restrooms are located in each unit and throughout the hospital. For everyone’s health and safety, we ask that visitors do not use the bathrooms in patient rooms. They are reserved for patients in order to protect their health.

Telephones are provided in all patient rooms. To dial a department within the hospital, dial the last four digits of the number. To place a local call, dial "9" plus the number. To place a long-distance call, dial "8" plus "0," and you will be directed to an operator for payment.

Smoke-Free Campus

We are committed to providing patients, visitors, and employees with a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted inside or outside properties owned by MarinHealth.

Televisions are provided in each patient room. We ask that you please keep the TV volume down and turn off the TV at bedtime. Channel listings are provided in the Healthy Advice guide. In addition to standard TV channels, we have a special C.A.R.E. Channel (channel 3) featuring beautiful nature images and instrumental music for a relaxing and healing environment.

Waiting Rooms

Waiting rooms are provided for loved ones on each unit. Please be mindful and courteous of other visitors in waiting areas. If you plan to have a large gathering, please talk to a care team member and we will work to accommodate you.
