MarinHealth Foundation
MarinHealth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire philanthropy for the benefit of MarinHealth. Charitable gifts to MarinHealth Foundation help make it possible for our physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver exceptional care in a healing and compassionate environment. Generous support strengthens existing healthcare programs and services and enables new equipment and medical technology.
Regardless of your gift amount, your support will have a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community now, and for generations to come. Recent programs and services made possible with philanthropic support include:
- A New Graduate Nurse Residency Program.
- A MarinHealth Outpatient Psychiatry clinic in Novato.
- A new Hybrid Operating Room in the Oak Pavilion.
- A new CT Simulator at MarinHealth Cancer Care.
- A Surgical Imaging C-arm.
- A DePuys Synthes VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution for knee replacement.
- Upgraded software and hardware for the Breast Health Center.
- The continued expansion of our Structural Heart Program, offering an even larger array of non-invasive lifesaving procedures to those who would have in the past needed open heart surgery.
- Support for underinsured cancer patients - including mammograms, physical therapy, wigs, prosthetics, and financial assistance.
- Braden Diabetes Center – Through a partnership with the UCSF Madison Clinic, the center now provides specialty care for children with diabetes here in Marin.
- Haynes Cardiovascular Institute – Founded in 2009 through the generosity of Bill and Reta Haynes, the Institute offers a full range of expert cardiovascular care, including education, prevention, diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation for all kinds of cardiovascular conditions.
Support Us, While We Support Our Community
MarinHealth is committed to meeting our community’s needs during this global health crisis. We are fortunate to have a generous donor base that contributes to programs, services, and special needs so that we can maintain exceptional care. We are very proud of our dedicated staff and care team members who are working diligently around the clock in response to the threat of COVID-19. The expenses incurred to ensure the health and safety of our patients, medical professionals, and community during this crisis are extraordinary and include costs to secure additional labor, protective gear for healthcare providers, and launching telehealth through our MarinHealth Medical Network Clinics.
If you would like to support MarinHealth, and our dedicated physicians, nurses, and medical professionals who are working hard to ensure the health and safety of all our patients and members of the Marin community, please consider making a donation to the area of greatest need.
