Our Drive Through Clinics: A Safe, Easy Way to Get Your Flu Shot

The COVID-19 pandemic makes getting your flu shot more important than ever before. Both illnesses affect the lungs, and contracting the flu — or even recovering from it — can make you more vulnerable to COVID-19. Conversely, if you’ve already had COVID and then get the flu, your lungs are more fragile, and you could get even more ill.

To spare you the inconvenience and risk of standing in line at the pharmacy or a doctor’s office, we have opened convenient drive-through flu clinics in Larkspur and Novato. You don’t even have to get out of your car: our medical technicians will administer the shot when you drive up or park.

In order to receive a flu shot at our drive-through clinic, you must:

  • Be a current patient of the MarinHealth Medical Network
  • Call your Primary Care Provider (PCP) in advance to book an appointment (same day appointments are not available)
  • Be 15 or older (younger patients need to get a flu shot at their pediatrician’s office)

Scheduling Your Drive-Through Flu Shot

Call your MarinHealth PCP’s office to schedule your flu shot. They will ask you a couple of screening questions and then call you back with an appointment time. If you don’t have a MarinHealth PCP and are interested in finding one, please call 1-888-MarinHC (1-888-627-4642). You will need to schedule an initial appointment to be established as a patient before you can get your drive-through flu shot.

If you are a current patient of one of our MarinHealth | UCSF Health Clinics, you can also get your flu shot during a scheduled in-office appointment.

Please wear a mask and bring a photo I.D. to your flu shot appointment, whether in the office or at the drive through.
