About Provider

Dr. Evens is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at the UC Irvine Medical Center.

He serves on several medical committees, is an infectious disease consultant to hospitals in Marin and Stanislaus Counties and serves as an adjunct instructor at Touro University and Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, Dr. Evens practices at the Marin County Department of Health and Human Services, where he uses his expertise in a multi-specialty clinic which provides care for patients with HIV, hepatitis C, tuberculosis, and sexually-transmitted diseases.

Dr. Evens lives in San Rafael and enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and two children.
