Dr. Ines Sherifi, MSc's goal as a clinical cardiologist is to provide comprehensive and evidence-based care to all her patients. In a new era of medical care, she believes in the incorporation of new technological innovations and evidence from the latest clinical trials to provide improved and individually tailored care for our patients.

Dr. Sherifi received her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering at MIT and then completed her medical studies and residency at the University of Toronto. She additionally completed a master’s degree at the Universite Paris Diderot in Paris, France. She subsequently trained in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in the program led by Dr. Valentin Fuster.

Dr. Sherifi began her medical career as a physician at Weill Cornell Medical College as a cardiologist and imaging specialist in the echocardiograpy, vascular medicine and nuclear imaging laboratories. She has a special interest in women’s heart health, with an emphasis on acknowledging and treating cardiovascular conditions that present differently in women.
