About Provider

My goal as a clinical cardiologist is to provide comprehensive and evidence-based care to all my patients. In a new era of medical care, I believe in the incorporation of new technological innovations and evidence from the latest clinical trials to provide improved and individually tailored care for our patients.

I received my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering at MIT and then completed my medical studies and residency at the University of Toronto. I additionally completed a master’s degree at the Universite Paris Diderot in Paris, France. I subsequently trained in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in the program led by Dr. Valentin Fuster.

I began my medical career as a physician at Weill Cornell Medical College as a cardiologist and imaging specialist in the echocardiograpy, vascular medicine and nuclear imaging laboratories. I have a special interest in women’s heart health, with an emphasis on acknowledging and treating cardiovascular conditions that present differently in women.
