Sarah Luster, MSN, RN, RD, CDE

Sarah Luster is a Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, and Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at MarinHealth Medical Center. Sarah was born and raised in Marin and received a Bachelor of Science from UC Berkeley in dietetics. Sarah went on to complete her dietetic internship at MarinHealth. Shortly after, Sarah went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University.

Sarah’s passions for health equity, nutrition, and patient-centered care shaped her desire to work with people who have diabetes. Sarah integrates her dietetic background into her nursing practice to support patients holistically and collaborate with them to manage their diabetes.

Prior to becoming a Diabetes Specialist, Sarah worked in primary care and as a bedside nurse. Her previous nursing experience has provided her with an invaluable foundation in patient care.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys hiking on Mt. Tam with her Bernese Mountain Dog and husband. She also loves cooking new recipes, reading, and swimming.
