Sujatha D. Pathi, MD

Dr. Sujatha Pathi is a board certified and fellowship-trained specialist in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.

As a specialist in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, Dr. Pathi’s area of focus includes surgical and non-surgical treatments for urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, voiding dysfunction, fecal incontinence, defecatory dysfunction, pelvic pain, and childbirth-related pelvic floor dysfunction. She specializes in complex vaginal and minimally invasive surgeries.

Dr. Pathi has conducted extensive research into the causes of pelvic floor disorders. She was the recipient of the Astellas Research Grant awarded by the American Urogynecologic Society. Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals such as Obstetrics & Gynecology, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the International Journal of Urogynecology.

Dr. Pathi is a staunch advocate for women’s health and treats her patients as partners in their own care, explaining all the treatment options to arrive at the solution that best fits each woman’s needs and lifestyle. Dr. Pathi lives in Marin with her husband and two children.
