Megan Sommer, NP started her nursing career over seven years ago in an intensive care unit, tending to patients who were confronted with many complex decisions.

It was through this bedside experience where she found a passion for Palliative Care Medicine and its ability to optimize not only symptom management but also the emotional and spiritual aspects of patients and their families.

With the support of the comprehensive Palliative Care Team, Megan seeks to tailor her approach to care, prioritizing the individual needs of each patient and amplifying the quality of their life.

Outside the realm of healthcare, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, listening to live music, and crocheting gifts for her family and friends.
