Lauren Brenner, LCSW,OSW-C

Lauren Brenner, LCSW, OSW-C is an Oncology Social Worker supporting individuals and families going through cancer care at MarinHealth. Working in the oncology field since 2012, Lauren has cultivated an understanding of the full scope of challenges that facing a cancer diagnosis can bring up. She is committed to providing compassionate counseling, psychosocial support, care navigation and resource linkage to patients across a spectrum of diagnoses. She enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with providers to center patients’ goals and experiences in their care.

Lauren joined MarinHealth having worked in both outpatient and hospital clinics in California, and has pursued advanced certification in Oncology Social Work. As part of a larger team of Social Workers and Patient Navigators at the Integrative Wellness Center, Lauren is honored to be part of the effort to help patients feel supported and empowered as they move through their care at MarinHealth. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, hiking on the coast and spending time with her family
