Grace Martin, MD,FAAP
Dr. Grace Martin is board certified in Pediatrics and has been practicing since 2000. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and completed her undergraduate degree in Genetics at UC Berkeley. She completed medical school, residency and chief residency at Loyola University Medical Center in the Chicago area.
After returning to the Bay Area, Dr. Martin spent more than 20 years as a pediatric hospitalist caring for sick newborns, children, and adolescents, and since 2010 has also cared for families in the outpatient setting. She values her relationships with her patients & families and is known for her thoughtful, collaborative approach taking time to listen and partner with parents to make care plans that fit each child and family.
Dr. Martin provides comprehensive general pediatric care, including preventive care, acute and chronic illness management, and developmental and behavioral guidance. In addition, she has special interest in pediatric wellness through nutrition, movement, and mindfulness; care of the student athlete with a focus on performance, mental preparation and injury prevention; concussion care; and asthma prevention and treatment.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Martin enjoys spending time outdoors & hiking with her husband, children, and dog, Cal, cheering on the San Francisco Giants, and supporting healthcare professionals through her work as a life coach.
