About Provider

Psychiatry is an ever evolving field but at the foundation there is always a search for understanding of the patient as an individual and the working together to arrive at a greater sense of this understanding. It is a pleasure to be allowed to help patients in this search for wellness in their lives

In college at the University of Colorado at Boulder, I enjoyed integrating the arts and sciences with a degree in biochemistry and a minor in philosophy and I believe that psychiatry is an amazing combination of both the art and science of practicing medicine. I've always been drawn to the complexities of the resilience of the mind and soul. I started medical school with the intention of specializing in oncology but realized that the depth of human emotion and experience is what I was most passionate about as well as the fascinating aspects of pharmacology and neurobiology.

I completed residency in Psychiatry at the University of Vermont and am thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of the community that is Vermont. After residency I was on faculty at Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital on the inpatient psychiatric Women's Unit and had a psychodynamic and mindfulness focused outpatient practice in Manhattan. I have practiced in outpatient adult psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente since 2015 and I am excited to continue my psychiatry practice journey at MarinHealth
