Berry Foster, LCSW
About Provider
Berry Foster, LCSW, is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered navigation and psychosocial support to individuals and families facing cancer diagnoses. She understands the emotional, physical, and practical challenges that can accompany a cancer diagnosis and is committed to helping each patient and family feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their care journey.
Berry joins MarinHealth with over a decade of experience supporting patients and families through serious illness and crisis. Most recently, she served as a hospice social worker, providing comprehensive psychosocial support and care coordination for individuals navigating complex medical needs and end-of-life care. Her earlier work in crisis response strengthened her ability to remain calm under pressure, foster trust quickly, and advocate across systems to reduce barriers to care. During her graduate training at the VA’s Women’s Health Center, Berry’s early exposure to women-centered care sparked a lasting commitment to addressing women’s unique health challenges and advocacy needs—an influence that continues to guide her work in oncology navigation today.
Berry is honored to be part of the MarinHealth oncology navigation team and to support patients receiving oncology care with empathy and respect. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, road trips, and spending time with her friends, family and two cuddly pups.
