Azita Taghavy, MD

Dr. Azita Taghavy is a board certified internist practicing as a hospitalist at MarinHealth Medical Center. She graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, the top medical school in the country. Dr. Taghavy did her residency in Internal Medicine at Tehran University. After that she worked as a faculty member at the University. She also worked as a practicing Internist at one of the largest hospitals in the country.

After a short stay as a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health, Dr. Taghavy completed another three years of training in Internal Medicine in St. Mary’s hospital. She has been working as a hospitalist at MarinHealth Medical Center since 2010. She also practiced primary care for some time in Greenbrae, California.

Dr. Taghavy am an avid reader and enjoys long walks, swimming, and spending time with her family.
