Ari Kane, MD
About Provider
Dr. Ari Kane is a board certified radiologist specializing in neuroradiology and minimally invasive image guided procedures of the spine with a focus on pain, oncology, and cerebrospinal fluid leaks. Dr. Kane performs image guided pain injections, radiofrequency ablation for pain and tumors, vertebroplasty / kyphoplasty, and blood patching. He received his MD degree from the University of California at San Francisco where he also spent a dedicated year as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellow. He then went on to complete his residency training at Duke University and a two-year Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Kane is the author of over 40 peer reviewed journal publications, book chapters, and maintains an active role as Assistant Clinical Professor within the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of California at San Francisco.
