Alexis A. Cardellini, MD

Dr. Cardellini was born in San Francisco and grew up in Greenbrae. She graduated from Redwood High School in Larkspur before attending UCLA where she studied Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, graduating cum laude with departmental and college honors. She received her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine in 2005, and then moved to Houston, Texas where she completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine.

Following residency, Dr. Cardellini returned to the Bay Area, and has been practicing in Marin since 2010. Dr. Cardellini is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her professional interests include high-risk obstetrics, contraceptive management, minimally invasive surgery, adolescent gynecology, and infertility. She sees patients in the Greenbrae office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and in the Novato office on Tuesdays. She is also available for telemedicine visits.

She enjoys fitness, visiting art galleries, watching movies, hiking the hills of Marin, traveling, and spending time with friends and family, including her husband and two daughters.
