Alex Prescott, MD

At this time, Dr. Alex Prescott provides outpatient services to hospital patients requiring follow-up from emergency care.

Dr. Alex Prescott is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with 30 years of experience treating patients with general orthopedic problems, sports injuries, and orthopedic trauma. Dr Prescott graduated from UC Irvine for medical school and completed his internship and residency in Orthopedics at UCSF. Dr Prescott believes in pursuing conservative, non-surgical treatments first, and reserves surgery as his last option. He is known by his peers for his calm logical demeanor, open-minded approach, and sense of humor. He is board certified in sports medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Prescott enjoys cycling, weightlifting, playing guitar, and do-it-yourself home projects where he can fix things. He is a news and documentary enthusiast who loves finding time to travel with his wife and
daughters.
