Linda Gaudiani, MD, FACP, FACE & Bruce Braden, co-founders of the Braden Diabetes Center, invite you to the 6th Annual Braden Diabetes Center Fall Fest - Diabetes Distress in the Time of COVID-19: Diagnosis and Treatment Matter

This year’s event will be an exciting virtual townhall for medical professionals as well as patients with diabetes and their families!

How do emotional, psychological, and social factors impact diabetes management? How can effective communications and interactions optimize patient safety and outcomes at this crucial time? This year’s Fall Fest event will consider these questions and more focusing on how patients, caregivers, and providers can successfully work together to address the behavioral and emotional aspects of living with diabetes.

Meet the Professor: Dr. William Polonsky

Our guest speaker Dr. William Polonsky is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California San Diego and ADA’s 2020 Outstanding Educator in Diabetes. Dr. Polonsky received his PhD in clinical psychology from Yale University, is President and Founder of the Behavioral Diabetes Institute, and previously served as Chairman of the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.
