MarinHealth | UCSF Health Alliance Expands in Orthopedics

New San Rafael Clinic Opens with MarinHealth & UCSF Health Orthopedic Experts

MarinHealth today announced the expansion of its strategic alliance with UCSF Health in the field of Orthopedics. The alliance also includes other highly specialized services and programs for maternity, neurosurgery, pediatrics, and more than 45 primary and specialty care clinics throughout the North Bay.

Building on the existing strength of MarinHealth’s capabilities in orthopedic care, MarinHealth Orthopedic Surgery | A UCSF Health Clinic in the Terra Linda neighborhood of San Rafael will now treat all joints, as well as orthopedic and sports medicine needs for children over 2 years of age and adults. Services will span from prevention and diagnostics to the latest advanced treatments, treating everything from pain to joint replacement and providing rehabilitation and emergency trauma support. The offering also features sub-specialization, in which each condition is treated by a specialist in that part of the body.

Orthopedic procedures requiring hospital equipment and/or services will be done at MarinHealth Medical Center’s new Oak Pavilion, allowing patients to stay close to home. In-office visits will be offered through the MarinHealth Medical Network in the following clinic locations:
