MILL VALLEY, CA — Featuring music by artists who've battled breast cancer, performed by some of the Bay Area's finest singers and musicians,  and hosted by actor, director and narrator Peter Coyote, the Wine, Women & Song Rock-N-Roll Breastival is a benefit concert that raises money for the fight against breast cancer. This year’s 15th annual celebration takes place SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26 at the Osher Jewish Community Center, 200 North San Pedro Road, San Rafael from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Produced by Susan Zelinsky and the Harbor Point Charitable Foundation, the evening will include a sumptuous buffet catered by Piazza D'Angelo, wine, beer and a special martini bar, and dancing in a relaxed, cabaret setting - all included in the $75.00 general admission ticket price. Tickets can be purchased through the Harbor Point Charitable Foundation at 1-415-383-6114 or www.winewomenandsong.org. Local performer and chanteuse Susan Zelinsky established the event in 1998 after both her mother and stepmother were diagnosed with breast cancer. "At first I just felt helpless and scared, but then I decided I could make a difference for cancer patients and people who knew little or nothing about the disease.” To date, she has raised over $100,000 for local charities focused on breast cancer research, treatment and support.

Bob Kaliski, Harbor Charitable Foundation Board Chair, stated “The evening is a celebration of the indomitable spirit of women and men who have battled breast cancer, as well as the charities and community that support them. We are especially grateful to Marin General Hospital, our title sponsor, and Bellam Self Storage, our presenting sponsor.”
