Robert Gleser, MD
Dr. Robert Gleser is originally from Johannesburg South Africa and has lived in the U.S for over 40 years.
Dr. Gleser completed his medical training at Boston University Medical Center and began his practice in Internal Medicine and Hematology in Denver. After a bout with testicular cancer, his interest in Preventive Medicine was sparked and this led him to the Pritikin Longevity Center in Santa Monica CA where he was the medical director.
Dr. Gleser then returned to Denver and developed the Healthmark Center where he published the HealthMark Program for Life and three very successful cookbooks. HealthMark then evolved into the first Integrated Medical Clinic in Denver and achieved a great regional reputation for over 30 years. The Wall Street Journal on January 5, 1998 published a front page article about their success.
Dr. Gleser is certified in acupuncture and has practiced Japanese meridian therapy. He is always striving to learn more to improve patient care and healing. He loves the practice of medicine and developing relationships with patients so he can help guide them to maintain or achieve good health.
Dr. Gleser has four children with his wife Kellie and two are in the bay area. They have three small dogs, love animals, music and are foodies. Dr. Gleser has been an athlete all his life and played rugby all the way through university. He has done marathons and triathlons which resulted in a knee replacement. Now he finds joy in swimming and cycling. Dr. Gleser is a competitive masters swimmer.
