Every woman deserves a safe, meaningful labor and delivery experience that meets her healthcare needs as well as her individual, cultural, and philosophical preferences. MarinHealth Maternity Care delivers the services and expertise North Bay moms-to-be want and need, close to home. We recently moved into a spectacular setting in our new Oak Pavilion, where we offer large, private labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) rooms, advanced technology throughout, and a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our affiliation with UCSF Health provides access to neonatal and perinatal experts who provide specialized care for high-risk pregnancies and premature or ill newborns.
We are the only hospital across Marin and San Francisco Counties to have a midwife and an OB hospitalist team available in the hospital at all times.
Our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is the only place in Marin County that is fully equipped to care for infants needing extra medical attention. Thanks to our alliance with UCSF Health Benioff Children’s Hospital, our specialists collaborate with expert neonatologists to care for newborns with critical health issues right here in Marin.
