Safety Precautions for Care from Your Critical Care & Pulmonology Team

In addition to the safety precautions outlined for the entire MarinHealth Medical Network, MarinHealth Critical Care & Pulmonology has implemented additional protective measures to help ensure we keep our patients, staff, and providers as safe as possible.

COVID-19 Screening

  • Conducting daily health screenings for our employees and providers.
  • Guiding patients with symptoms of COVID-19 to our Adult Acute Care Clinic, where they can be treated separately and safety.

Enhanced Sanitization

  • We continue to completely change out equipment between every patient and are now using many disposable products to further limit the possibility of contamination.
  • We have switched to the highest level disinfectant; so you can rest assured that the entire room is completely disinfected between patients.
  • Instituted UV light room cleaning after every patient, and Hepa air filtering during all testing and room cleaning procedures.
  • Spacing out appointments to allow for deep cleaning between every patient.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Providing face coverings for employees and providers and, as needed, for patients.
  • Outfitting care team members with face shields, masks and gloves for every patient visit.

Social Distancing

  • Taking steps to allow for social distancing of six feet or more, including limiting reception room seating, prompt placement in exam rooms and limiting the number of patients we have in the office at any one time.
  • Offering contactless payment options via Apple Pay and Google pay.
  • We will also continue to offer telehealth appointments (video visits) as appropriate to help limit exposure for patients more at risk for COVID-19.

Again, thank you for choosing MarinHealth Critical Care & Pulmonology. We are honored by your trust and we look forward to caring for you for years to come!
