Safety Precautions for Care from Your Cardiovascular Medicine Team

In addition to safety precautions outlined for all of the MarinHealth Medical Network locations, we have added additional protective measures for cardiovascular care.

Telehealth (Video) Appointments have been popular with our patients. These appointments allow you meet with your provider from the comfort of your home using your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop with webcam. Initial patient feedback is overwhelmingly positive – with many commenting on convenience and the ease of setup.

To schedule your visit, call 1-415-927-0666, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, and our team will walk you through how to set it up. If you prefer, email us: cardiology@mymarinhealth.org. We will respond within 24 hours to all e-mail requests. Appointments are typically available within 48 hours of your request.

Traditional In-person Appointments are being scheduled for those who need in-person evaluation. It is important not to delay your heart care. Rest assured we are taking many steps to ensure your safety in the office:

  • Reducing traffic in our waiting room through appropriate appointment scheduling
  • Allowing patients to wait in their car instead of our office, when needed
  • Requiring and providing masks for our staff and providers
  • Thoroughly disinfecting our office spaces routinely and after every appointment

Medically Necessary Cardiac Procedures and Imaging Tests are resuming; and thankfully the current number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 is extremely low. We haveworked with local health authorities and MarinHealth Medical Center to begin to reschedule medically necessary and high-priority procedures. A rigorous protocol has been designed to minimize risk to patients and providers that includes use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and testing for COVID-19 for patients undergoing procedures at MarinHealth Medical Center. If you have an upcoming procedure, contact our office to discuss scheduling and additional details.

Your health and heart care continue to be our focus and commitment. We will get through these challenging times together!
